A quick trip out today to Clevedon, result being some video footage of the pier. The day was fairly cold, overcast and quite still. There was only a very light breeze, so the sea looks fairly still. The Bristol Channel was its usual muddy best 
My TOAL was from the very wide pavement quite close to the pier entrance. It was quite busy and there was a fair bit of interest in the drone. The tone of questions, though, was notably different from my previous experience in fairly busy places. Folk seemed genuinely interested and wanting to know about the drone, what it cost and what it is capable of. There was no detectable negative angle to the questions, which is different from my previous experience.
