Additional notes:
I'm taking a punt on this as the weather is a wee bit uncertain. It's on a Saturday because the next 4 Sundays are Grand Prix, Bank Holiday, Grand Prix, Grand Prix!

What's there? Not a lot! Sewage farm, industrial buildings, views to Langstone and the Hayling Bridges to the East, Portsmouth to the west

Come down Southmoor Lane and, when you get to the car park area there is a small road to the right that curls up the hill, Go up that and meet us at the top.

If anyone travels by train or bus Havant rail station is on the mainline from Waterloo or London Victoria, Brighton or Southampton. The 700 Coastliner bus docks in Havant. No great hassle for someone to pick you up in a car,

Parking is £3.90 between 08:00 and 18:00, not suggesting you don't pay but it is quite quiet down there. Cash, cards or phone payment.

Tesco is 5 minutes drive and has customer toilets, a Greggs cafe and full range of Tesco groceries, clothing and sundries. The Tesco fuel station is normally one of the cheapest in the area.

So there we have it, relatively easy access and bugger all to do.Still meetups are as much about the people as they are about the flying and, if thew wind is in the right direction, you'll be out in the fresh Solent breeze.

Out out all day, sad to miss 2 in a row, but hopefully catch up with a few people at Seaford next month.

It wasa quiet, refined and select gathering.

I was trying out my replacement Inspire - which needs a fair bit of tuning and put up the Mini3 for a quick buzz around. I’ve put a couple of screenshots from the video below.

Now have to sort out wide angle, normal and thermal images from Nik’s ad-hoc mapping session that he has kindly given to me to make some maps!

Looking north -

Moving south, the cars at the meet site. Fortunately the wind was blowing from the south so any smell was going awayfrom us.

Looking south-east - Langstone left, the bridges for Hayling separating Chichester and Langstone Harbours, Hayling Island to the right and the Witterings in the distance

Nik @Nik469 and I had a little play with his Matrice to try mapping. He very generously gave me back my own128Gb card on which he had placed some 600 pictures.

Processing the snaps took most of a Grand Prix, I’m now trying to find out how to share the results,for free, on the net. Meanwhile here are some screenshots:
