Codnor Castle - Added to Castles and Fortifications in East Midlands

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

Codnor Castle is a ruined fortification in Derbyshire, dating from around 1200. The castle was built in two phases, the first under Henry de Grey, who acquired the estate at the end of the 12th century and constructed the northern end of the structure in stone. Around 1320, his descendants developed the southern part of the castle, doubling its size

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 06/05/2023. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

You need to be prepared for a walk, to get to the location.
I parked at a closed down country pub.
