Coming for a Visit to UK - looking to buying a new drone

This is Sincoders link :+1: Oh beat me to it @Leylo1971! Do you have to pay again after firmware upgrade? Last question as hijacking thread. Sorry!

Iā€™m sure itā€™s come down in price also, Iā€™m sure he only charged 30.

Also, when heā€™s doing it, keep an eye on whatā€™s going on, when your pc is in remote, the files he uses are useful if you ever update f/w (although I donā€™t know which) so you can re flash :+1:

Air 2S is definitely better in the wind but the Mini 3 pro does pretty well. Remember if you intend to fly a drone heavier than 250g you will need an A2 CFC qualification and it is also more restrictive on where you can fly.

My suggestion would be the Air2S, itā€™s much more stable in higher winds than the Mini 3 Pro. I live on the East Coast and know something about the likelihood of strong winds during your trip. Sure, the rules will let you get in to more places with the sub-250g Mini 3, but that wonā€™t help you if the wind makes it impossible to fly with any level of confidence. Thatā€™s just my take on it.

You donā€™t ā€˜needā€™ an A2 c of c, it just helps you fly in more places, and closer to people. I have one but I didnā€™t need it, could have just flown in A3 if Iā€™d of wantedšŸ‘

Fair point but not many would want an Air 2S and only fly in A3 I donā€™t think. I wouldnā€™t want an overseas visitor to be caught out
