Was out and about round the Brick Lane area last week and got this overlooking Commercial Street, near to the Truman brewery.

Nice pics… I flew right over the old brewery chimney about 5 odd months ago… There’s a perfect TOAL location right by my former primary school! (Out of hours and weekends obivously)

I still have a video to put together, not sure if what I have of the chimney will be usable yet. But I was really struggling trying to find somewhere to take off from along brick lane, I just couldn’t get enough satellites locked.
Ended up having to take a walk quite far down a side road, taking off and then walking it out to where I wanted to film.
Personally keep away from Brick Lane itself… It’s too busy, even in the evenings and you’re very restricted VLOS wise.
Here’s my TOAL location… It’s a dead end road so no passing vehicle traffic. Keep out of Allen Gardens, LBTH Byelaws on drones…
