Its been nearly three months since my last video in my ongoing series capturing the redevelopment on this site, and wow so much progress in that time despite the poor winter weather.
The engine house you see at the start of my video used to supply power to the hydraulic lifts and capstans in the Great Northern Railway goods warehouse next to it. Its great to see a roof on it now and look at that craftsmanship with the lead flashing on the tower.
About 70% of the former Great Northern Railway goods warehouse is now surrounded by scaffolding. A lot of the new houses have now got roofs on them.
This is Part 15 in my series, this will be an ongoing project over the next few years as the buildings get repurposed and the houses get built.
