Controller, goggles and drone compatability

@Hippytitimus John
Don’t understand your parting shot.

@Hotrodspike John
Thanks for that but, I am not trying to fly the Air 2 with the Mini 3 Pro RC.(it won’t) what I want to do it the other way round, fly the Mini 3 pro with the remote from the Air 2, which according to the Heliguy but above i can.

Which “RC”? As in “RC = Remote Controller” or “RC = DJI-RC controller”?

Need to be careful.

The Mini 3 Pro comes with either the DJI RC-N1 or the DJI-RC

As the table above clearly shows, the RC-N1 works with the Air 2, but the DJI-RC doesn’t.

That one.
I know the DJI-RC works with the Air 2S, and the controller for the Air 2 works with the Air 2S (I sold my Air 2 but gave him the RC-N1 controller from the Air 2S, still worked, and the RC-N1 from the Air 2 still works on my Air 2S).
So, the question is, what has DJI done to the DJI-RC to stop it working with the original Air 2 (and the Mini 2)? I would have thought that as the RC-N1 works with all of the drones, the DJI-RC would do the same.

Probably something as simple as a change in OC and backward compatibility.

But the what’s changed doesn’t really change compatibility. It is what it is.

The DJI RC has never been comparable with the Mini 2 or the Air 2 as they are both O2

It looked like it was getting serious so I thought I would lighten the mood. I Obviously missed the mark

Sorry Wayne, should have said “prevent it” from working.

So what happens when my Smart controller works with Mini 2, Air 2 (both O2) AND the Air 2S (O3)?

@Hippytitimus
No worries

Dont Know but its only O2 so maybe when used with the Air2s its limited to O2 :man_shrugging:
