I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

Take off and landing on Priory Row. Sub 250g Drone due tobuilt-upp area. Also this location is right on the edge but outside of Coventry Airport's Flight Restriction Zone. Just something to be aware of. It is also situated on the very edge of Coventry City Centre so high volumes of the general public. The dropped pin is a nice location away from people so should minimise encounters.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 15/12/2021. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

So the new cathedral is shorter than the old one?

And have you seen the size of that ladder on the old one :scream:

Yeah the weather vane fell off the top a few years ago in the wind so now they need to have regular physical inspections so they’ve permanently fixed the ladder to the side :rofl: but yeah I don’t fancy climbing that ladder :rofl:

And yes the newer cathedral is smaller than the old one. There is also a 3rd tower not to far away that has been converted into a bar lol and it’s how Coventry is known as the 3 Spires City.

There are no parking or take off and landing markers on the map at this location. Could anyone that has flown here or knows the area add some useful markers to the map, please?
