Cowden Beach on the East Yorkshire coast is one of the fastest-eroding shorelines in Europe, receding at an average rate of 2.5 to 5 metres per year. This rapid retreat of the soft boulder-clay cliffs exposes hundreds of thousands of live unexploded bombs and bullets from the former RAF Cowden bombing range
Shot on Avata 360, uploaded as a 360 to YouTube in 8k (although they are very miss and miss on what they process it to)
Have also upladed to DEOVR and will post the link when it get out of moderation !
Full clicky/draggy type affair - no music or edits, still testing

On my desktop monitor, video quality of the DeoVR video is far superior to the YouTube version.
Update: My bad, YT had defaulted to 720, manually switching to 8K gave great resolution but jerky playback and that’s with a 950Mbps connection. 4K playback looked and played really good.
I really like being able to pan around during the video. On the DeoVR version I see it’s also possible to zoom in and out (mouse wheel) during playback but not it seems on the YT version.
Agreed
The Reddit sub on DeoVR has some interesting chatter on how long they will let you keep uploading to them on the free sub before they ‘force’ you onto a Premium model.
Its not the easiest platform to navigate, but you do get the 8K uploads (at the moment) from the get go.
Another quick upload in 360 8K
Watch on youtube for the full 360
