Parking at the free car park at Cairn Wood on the B170 between Bangor and Belfast gives you a few photo options. You can take one of several newly upgraded path through the wood for scenic woodland photos, or just across the road there are a couple of reservoirs, and nearby is also the Craigantlet Quarry. Craigantlet is located in the free space between the FRZs of George Best City airport and Newtownards airfield.
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 26/07/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
