Well as the topic suggests my original M pro is dead. To be honest im not sure exactly what happened. I was filming the sunrise, started to bringbthe drone back towards my self, took my finger off the stick and it continued to fly backwords. Now im not sure if it was taken by the wind but i dont think so as there was no more than a mild breeze or if i hadnt acted quick enough though im pretty positive i did. Or if it just failed to respond to controls. Either way, it hit the cabin and took damage to one arm and the gimbal plate. All easily repairable but not immediately and i was on holiday.
So, my wife being the angel she is told me to go get a new one. So im now the proud owner of a Mavic 3 flymore combo.
Its quite different to the old Mavic pro so its taking some getting used to. I think i will try and repair the M pro myself once i have established exactly how much damage there is.
Anyway i know this isnt the video thread but this is the videa that contsins the Sumrise that saw the demise of my M Pro.

Should you decide to sell for parts, I may be interested.
Just thinking it’s getting to the stage I ought to start accumulating some spares for my MP, so not trying to be pessimistic as to your chances of repair.
Can’t contemplate new, for now.

The Airdata might give some clues as to why it crashed

Wow she’s a keeper
Mine would laugh and threaten to cut my balls off if I contemplated replacing so I squirrel money away buy treats and hide them.

Never understood marriages like that. You’re both adults for goodness sake. You each get to spend money on what makes you happy, or better still what makes each other happy.
If ever in doubt just whip out the big guns “Honey flying my drone gives me a sense of calm, serenity and silences the urge to sleep with your noticeably thinner sister”.
I don’t think you’re the first or the last to experience little hiccups like this. I’ve had something similar, but a load of foliage saved the day.
Repair is definitely possible and do-able, and I’m surprised what can be done! There are services who you can send this away to, and its a path well trodden - so definitely worth considering
Oh, i have used drone doctor before and i can’t recommend them enough. They were amazing when they repaired the same drone the last time when an angry crow took it out.
Don’t forget the members’ discount for Drone Doctor, if you go that route.
It’s always gutting when you crash your drone, considering how expensive they are and when there was no apparent reason for it. Maybe flight logs will explain.
Well done on the footage you captured, great views and very cinematic! Good luck with the Mavic3, believe it’s excellent from all accounts.
