Park in the main town and take a short walk to the pier and down onto the beach for TOAL. lots of space on a quiet day, and some beautiful views of the coast, pier and town.
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 22/07/2026. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location. Landowner permission may be required before taking off.
It was pretty quiet when we were there so I took off behind the hotel de Paris, but whenever I have flown here before I’ve taken off from a quiet spot on the beach further up. It can get really busy around the pier, I think it was lucky that it was a quieter day and the weather wasn’t great so most people were either on the promenade or further the other side of the pier where the cafe and attractions are.
