If memory serves, DJI just didn’t bother renewing their licence key back then, so it died a death.
As above, I’m not sure what you need a map for? The lack of a map won’t affect your flying

The lack of a map loading won’t be / can’t be a hardware issue.
How is your CS connected to the internet?
When you looked at the map and saw nothing, was the drone connected and locked on with solid GPS at the time?
