Dancing Ledge - Added to Coastal Scenery in Dorset, South West

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Dancing Ledge is a gorgeous location on the Purbeck Jurassic Coast. It’s an old quarrying site with large fossils visible in the stone, bat caves, climbing opportunities and a tidal pool cut into the rock shelf for swimming too.

It takes a bit of effort to get down to it from the National Trust car park (and a bit more to get back again) but it’s more than worth it.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 28/08/2026. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location. Landowner permission may be required before taking off.
