The ban on wild camping succeeded. Not sure how he intends to enforce it. Why is a person allowed to own national park land anyway.

On the flip. If laws have never mentioned drones in the first place. Fly to your hearts content.

Its a slppery slope Ade. I cant see them taking anyone to court but never say never!

It’s in the first line of the article “WEALTHY landowner”!!! :grinning: :grinning: :grinning: :grinning:

Really?
Nearly all National Parks land is privately owned.

When the New Forest National Park, or South Downs National Park were formed, recently, nobody paid all the farmers and home owners billions to own their property!
Where would those many billions of ÂŁ come from?
They all still own them.

AFAIK, a National Park is only an umbrella institution that has sway over planning in the area, and promotes the tourism. It owns almost nothing.

Most land in national parks are privately owned.
In most cases the land was owned long before the park was set up. My entire town is within the boundaries of a NP for example.

NP is more of a management oversight body responsible for the rights of way, access, maintenance and so on.
