Hello, I’m using Davinci Resolve and the editing is fine. However l, when I upload to YouTube it looks terrible. Digital artefacts and jerky frames. I’ve tried changing the bitrates and all sorts of things from YouTube tutorials but nothing helps.
Is this just a Davinci Resolve issue or is it the same with other editing software too?
are you exporting the file to a folder then uploading to youtube ?
Maybe try it that way and not export it directly via DR
Absolutely not! Many people here use DR without an issue - and you’ve probably watched tutorials on YT that have been created using it.
How are you uploading to Youtube (direct?) and what type of file and render quality etc?
Could it just be that YT havent yet finished the render yet? Often takes an hour for it to appear in full 4k for me…
I find once uploaded it says something like “processing up 20 min” but actually it is done within 60 seconds. If the link opens, the thumbnail appears and it plays, it’s ready!
if you upload direct then you may find problems, if you render to the PC then you can see if problems arise, but it could also be your computer not been able to handle the rendering.
