Messing around on a quiet beach with my little spotter. Shame I was running out of light but I feel like I am starting to get the hang of it now!

Looks great fun, I’ve had mine for probably 3 months now & still haven’t switched it to full manual mode, scared to crash the speedy little devil, had great fun trying it in sports mode, but need to put more hours into the simulator to get used to the sticks, brave of you flying it in manual mode over the water, one error & its gone, so well done on getting used to the sticks so quick.

Thanknyou! To be fair I have put in 10+ hours on the simulator (liftoff) on a PC before flying. I find that it’s very realistic and the flying dynamics match the dji well. Flying over water is my default so feels more natural to me! Take the plunge in manual mode, just stay high for the first few times, altitude and the emergency brake are your freinds.

Not at all, I speak as I find. I’ve been flying FPV on and off for nearly ten years but I’ve yet to put my recently purchased DJI FPV Drone through its paces. However if I get the same results you are producing I’ll be a happy Nidge.

Love it! Really adds a different dynamic to the video you capture! I’ve been telling myself I don’t need one

Great video and a cracking location.
I’ve just got my hands on a dji fpv today and i’m looking forward to getting it up in the air tomorrow.
I fly fpv in air mode all of the time but most of my drones are significantly cheaper than the dji fpv so I’m planning on some sim time before going full manual

Talking of sim time I tried the PC version last night & it was so laggy on this PC, what is the best way to test fly the DJI FPV in sim mode, couldn’t see it on the version I downloaded from DJI just had the usual Mavic 2 range etc, not got any IOS gear here.

Yeah the sims are resource heavy. I have a damn good laptop ~£1200 and even I can only run the sim on lower mid settings. But it’s either that or IOS sim. Nothing really in-between.
