All my drones have names. Some of the early 3D printed ones have more interesting ones.
So far:
Eric ***
Ernie ***
Eric 2 ***
Big’Un
Big’Un 2
Prize
Wasp
Fly
Bee
Hornet
Blue Bottle
Bug
Eagle
Jet
Dolphin**
Beaver**
Badger**
** These are cheating names, just the name of the frame. The rest are unique (ish)
*** Actually named after my childhood gerbils, who were of course named after…
I find it essential to have the “craft name” in the OSD, so I can remember what the feck was flying…
I tried putting the bleeper underneath. When I crashed I think that may have contributed to the frame braking and it acted as a pivot point. But this is before I had the run can. Ask @Foley I can never fly with a separate beeper.
But you got me thinking as the centre of gravity is bad.
Toilet tanked ? Don’t understand is that Amm and battery side by side ?
Or toilet is flush ?
Might print/ design a flat undercarriage box to house cam, batter and beeper.
Yes, side-to-side… It’s a term I heard on Nick Burn’s videos. BTW if you’re into micros then his videos are worth watching. (also his give-aways, I got a £200+ drone free on one of those)
Nice place to fly there…
London, but just within 2 min walk from house. Bit tight for a park and normally busy. There not much open fields but the odd park here and there if you hunt them out.
