Thanks for sharing this footage. It’s fascinating to see a project like this from a bird’s-eye view.
The transition from a targeted ‘making safe’ operation to a full demolition is more common than people might think. Once crews are on-site and can fully assess the structural damage—especially from a fire—they often find that the cost and danger of trying to salvage parts of the building are too high. A complete demolition frequently becomes the only safe and economically viable option.
The drone perspective really highlights the scale and method of the teardown. It’s a great example of how complex these projects can be once they’re underway.
