I’m up for that, although suggest using AVATA or other ducted fans, broke too many props for any close in flying today ![]()
He got the badge - I worked it out from your post. ![]()
Perhaps Avata’s on the inside of the formation and the mini 2,3,4’s on the outside . Something to practice maybe ![]()

Thanks for a great day, really enjoyed meeting you all and seeing for real what it’s all about. The difference in drones and what they can do is very interesting. Thanks Jocky for organising the event.

I think I was there. Although being 6’4" wearing a high viz jacket and dragging a shopping trolley I am easily missed.
Hi All,
I am in no way a video editor at all, so excuse my attempt at this, video of some of yesterdays activities.
Video is not shared to the public, it can only be viewed here or if you know the link, for anyone that doesnt want the public to have access to it.
Very good Lloyd ![]()

My first front flips with the Avata in manual mode, only just managed to save myself from the second one ![]()
Thank you, that stops me from being sent to sit on the naughty step for a week.
I really enjoyed watching the flying although my drone stayed in its case except for a briefscouting flight from the car park to see which direction to head.
I live between Nottingham and Derby and have very flexible availability if anyone in the area or visiting wants to meet. Please be warned, I can, at times, make the average box of frogs appear to be quite sane.
Thanks to all involved in organising this. Can the next one have parking which doesn’t have a 2.0m barrier please? I had to let the air out of my suspension to get in and out.
