Devil's Punch Bowl, Surrey, England

Hi all, fairly new to droning. I’ve just got the Antigravity A1 360 camera drone recently and got the chance to flight over the Devil’s Punch Bowl in Surrey.
Absolutely beautiful landscapes, well worth a flight.
This area is close to a very large no fly zone of special interest for the wildlife.

Hi @7coloursummer I’ve edited your post to include the OneBox preview.

To do this just paste the YouTube link into a new line on its own with no spaces etc.

No need to use the insert hyperlink button in the message composer or any embed code, its all done automatically for you if you follow the above.

No worries at all makes it look much nicer.

Did you not upload a 360 fully immersive version ?

Yeah in the googles it was so good to fly over looking around. I definitely want to make sure people get to experience that too. I’ll be uploading some 4K 360 exports at some point too

Nice one, while i have you it looks as though you’re quite new here :wave:t2:

Why not nip over to the Introductions page, and say hello properly and tell us a bit about yourself. :+1:t2:

Great to see your 360 on here @7coloursummer - I don’t know if it is the first Members post but it is the first I have seen. Looking forward to many more.

What software did you edit the first video with?

First one from the anti gravity that I recall. Although many have strapped an insta360 on drones going back many years

Just the Antigravity app on my phone, oh plus Microsoft Clipchamp just to put on some legal music on the first one.

Neat, quite straight forward then.

Could you have, for example when flying towards / over / past your hiker buddies, have kept them in frame?

Yeah absolutely, can freely reframe, use deep tracking so the angel follows a person or object or use key frames.

Thats great to know.

I’ve read a lot about how much computer power is needed for editing the 360 footage, but it seems not the case.

Keep posting more please, when you get chance :+1:

I was looking around for some other places to fly and capture and I found a post on here saying National Trust sites ban take off and landing. So I’ve now realised, that despite a ton of research beforehand, I shouldn’t have flown my drone here. I’m absolutely gutted, the views were so gorgeous.

I’m looking around on various drone maps now and feeling like I can’t fly anywhere anymore.

Flying over is ok and perfectly legal subject to flight restrictions (NOTAMS etc).
TOAL from within / on, well, as you found out, you didn’t have a queue of NT Drone Police confronting you.

Great to see some real world Antigravity A1 video in the UK @7coloursummer

As Ian said:

And for this one:

This map will help, there are thousands (and thousands) of locations recommend by club members that have flown there themselves
