Did you know you can import a 360 photo from your drone into Insta360 Studio to create crazy moves?

Something a bit different for you.
Did you know you can import a 360 photo from your drone into Insta360 Studio to create these kind of crazy animated video sequences?
If your an Insta360 one X5 owner then you will be familiar with Insta360 Studio for editing your 360 degree photographs well I though well why cant I import a 360 pic from my drone and then animate it and yes you can !

My Workflow :

  1. I took a 360 degree photograph with my DJI Mini 4 Pro
  2. Imported the 35 photographs into PTGui to stitch together.
  3. Filled in the Zenith in Paint Shop Pro, enhanced the image and saved it.
  4. Imported the equirectangular photo into Insta360 Studio
  5. Use the animate functions to create crazy sequences like in my video.

Hope you enjoyed it.

Indeed and if you want to do it on a phone there are several apps that will do it too

I use IQUISPIN and Theta+

Ah I tend not to use phone apps, give us a proper pc with a keyboard and mouse any day over an app

Thanks for the heads up it is always good to know the art of the possible.

And IQUISPIN is also a new one to me even though I see it’s been around for a few years!

Or even better a Mac

Is handy on travels and holidays to post to the socials, and as you are probably connected anyway to the camera its quick and easy

Although the Insta app (desktop and mobile) gets better with every new version
