You should be able to use a utility to recover them if you have a proper finalized video of the same format. Made a post ages ago about this as had issues with the thumb.
Yeah I’ve done it before, whether I can be bothered with these videos I don’t know. They’re nothing to write home about…

Ok… I just had a fly with my Walksnail whoop back-to-back with one of my HDZero whoops around the house.
The image on the Walksnail is definitely clearer than HDZero, however HDZero has far better performance in the shadows.
I tried to notice the latency, and for sure I noticed it with Walksnail. Quite a bit. The fast yaws I have on my whoops (900 at max with very little expo) are latency free with HDZero, but happen just a fraction of a second later with Walksnail. I am confident I was flying better around the house with HDZero than with Walksnail. Sure I could compensate for the latency, but it was a lot easier with HDZero.
Yup, this confirms all the things I’ve heard before…
But, the image quality is definitely better with Walksnail and it’s the image quality I wanted for this whoop… So I’ll just have to see how it does outside.

Hdzero definitely has a more locked in feel which is nice.
And walksnail detail at distance is great for planes.
I have it on a 3" as well for bando penetration

I may put it on my larger planes and 6" quad, but on my P.15 I think I’ll stick with HDZero. I have the bigger lens on the camera and am looking forward to trying 1080p30 on that. The stack is a 20mm one, and even the mounting on the V2 WS VTXes will struggle to go on.
We tend to fly really fast and close with our 3" quads, especially the Gecko, so they’ll also be sticking to HDZero. I reckon the 90fps cam may be a good choice as it has better penetration than the other cams at 540p90 and should be even better at 540p60.
There is a growing trend of hdzero goggle users using the walksnail vrx.
The money in fpv is the cams and vtx’s?

Lol… I was out on a mountain bike ride today.
Got back and saw the news… too tired to even think about it yet.
Just tried 1080. The image is slightly better. But I really don’t like it. It stutters for me. Carl and others on fb say its fixed, but I’m not going to say yet or i’ll get linched. Need to try it in flight.
Do you have the replacement lens?
It works for me… I’ve not noticed stutter, but then I’ve only been on the bench…
I say stutter, meaning it feels like 10-15fps or so. Not big stutters. Just not nice and smooth like 60fps.
Pal on a tv is 30 and that looked fine to me.
I can move my hand and it looks like my fingers merge. But the dvr looks fine 
It doesn’t look much worse than 720p60 to me. The resolution I can definitely see is better.
The only bad thing I see right now is my custom fonts don’t work in 1080p30.
Well also the VRX4 doesn’t display it, even when patched…
That’s interlaced. 60fps but only half the frame each refresh… It’s fake 60fps.
