I’m not sure if its just me, or if @Yith feels it too, but the hdzero 1080p30 mode really makes me feel sick when doing freestyle.
There is no lag, but the frame rate really messes with me. Definitely for cruising.

How much better is the 1080p vs 720 Karl? Minus the sicky feeling
It’s marginal. But I think they are working on it. The only plus side I saw was that the breakup blocks are smaller. Personally at the moment, in my opinion, its a dead duck.
Sounds like it could be good for high crusing with wings etc. I suppose they kind of have to try with the 1080p thing as their goggles run 1080p, it would be a bit strange if HDZero didnt have a 1080p option to run on the 1080 compatible goggles
I guess so. I went back to 720p 4:3 mode straight after and it felt so locked in and right.
I’m definitely of the belief that walksnail is for cruising and hdzero is for fast freestyle, gaps, tricks etc. It really does make you a better pilot (imo).
That just leaves the bando penetration problem. Low locked hdzero latency with walksnail / dji penetration.
If anyone cracks that, it’ll be a winner. 
If anyone solves that problem it would bury the competition lol Would probably be looking at a very high powered military grade system out of the reach of us hobby pilots. I guess we will have to just prioritise image quality or latency for now

Hmmm. I have a batch 1 and it has slightly loose optics. Not a problem unless you’re a Stevie Wonder guru. Its a biggie problemo for divimath though

Im only assuming its a problem with the new batch as Ive only heard about it since the new batch has been received. Might be worth checking it out further if you have a similar issue with your batch 1 goggles too 
Yeah could be a massive problem for them covering all those courier costs back and forth depending on how many have issues. Not to mention damage to reputation (not so much the HDZero faithfull but the general fpv crowd that are still on the fence). Im pretty sure there are still loads of people waiting to receive their new goggles yet. Carl does have a great reputation for sorting out issues quickly and efficiently though so

I don’t think my tiny vtx supports 1200mW… max is 350mW.
I heard about that. I’ve had a glitch on 1200mw close range in the past but 700 was fine. I’ll try when I can

A nice little positive as regards HDZero support.
One of my Nano Lite cameras broke in a crash. Looking inside I found a loose resistor. I tried to solder it back on, but failed. Contacted HDZero support and they said they’d fix it. All it would cost was postage.
After a couple of months, which I will accept, it did have to go to China and back, the camera is back in my hands and works perfectly.
In the mean time I did buy a second camera, but now I have a spare…
