There’s a built-in microphone for recording the pilot’s surrounding noise and pilot commentary. The audio quality is not great, you get a lot of noise from the fan but it’s better than none. Because HDZero VTX’s don’t have microphones on them, so the VRX audio will be recorded along with the DVR footage.
yeah great to add comments at the end of the DVR video to state “Wow I did a great vanny roll”, or “excellent near miss of Yiths face in that one”… I do that with the runcam, and skip to end of some of the videos to check 
Heh… yeah I often talk to my go pro saying what the video is before taking off. I very rarely actually hear that on playback since I fast forward to the arming of the quad…
Actually talking to the VRX will be better since it’ll pick up my “oh shit” style comments and the famous “Martin, unplug, unplug, I can’t see anything!!!”
Anyway, it’s all upgraded to latest firmware and stuff… but there are no VTXes transmitting here to actually get a signal to display.
I have managed to get it to display on my little portable HDMI monitor I have as well. I needed to find a mini HDMI to HDMI cable/adapter, but thought to look what the unopened bag with a black cable in it was on the floor under my desk just before ordering a second one from Amazon…
Pffft, never gonna live that down (still lucky no long term water damage, haha)

Supports self printing and gets around the shortage of Chinese supplies.

Just looking on UnmannedTech website and interestingly it appears that they are stocking HDZero gear too. Most things are out of stock at the moment but they have the newer products listed so can only assume they will be instock at some point. This is good as it shows HDZero as a brand is clearly rising in popularity enough that other shops are interested in stocking products other than just HobbyRC
