Ditton Park Manor Berkshire - Added to Historic Buildings in South East

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

Ditton Park Langley Slough Berkshire,
Massive park with a manor & a few other bits of nice scenery, stumbled on this when watching the weather forecast, parking was a bit of a nightmare but parked at the end of ditton park road where there’s enough to park a car, is a real nice place a few dog walkers in & around the park so be mindful, I TOAL’D from just inside a gate & stayed on the perimeter, as I was just leaving I spoke to a park keeper after my flight who was fine but there was a slight language barrier but all seemed ok, there was a sign on a fence which was hazard warnings ( dogs must be kept on lead, enter at own risk, water hazards keep to pathways & children must be accompanied, I believe this place is well known for weddings & venues etc, airspace is class D but do check before you visit as its not to far from Heathrow FRZ,
all in all a nice place.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 07/08/2024. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Yes …… if & when you walk through the gate where the parking marker is which is just off the road there, ( with your back to the gate ) so to speak, just be carful as Heathrow flight path is behind you ( which is FRZ ) as mentioned on drone scene, so be carful not to drift behind you or I’d say fly it if your a confident flyer skill wise if that makes sense, it’s a great place but myself if I hadn’t had the flying experience I have I would not have flown there,
So if your good on your sticks ( in the nicest possible way ) go for it, check drone scene tho just incase anything has changed, good luck :+1:

I flew, but it was further from that location to the north on a residential street. The place you indicated the terrain was made of small stones and would be covered in a lot of dust, I didn’t have a great image to the north. At the end the weather started “Wind” got much stronger and the remote control gave some warnings. I entered through the gate and asked the security guard if I could take photographs, he said no. He said it was private and at that moment there was a wedding ceremony taking place. I noticed that the planes were at a low altitude, I had to be careful when flying, I’m new to drones, I don’t have much experience.

Yes I was originally looking at the “ not to far from residential area “ but found the other as noted a better place to TOAL,

As you know I went through the dusty bit at the back as you say, but is fine if your hand launching & catching,
Personally I wouldn’t have gone to the gate at the front but each to their own,
If there’s a wedding ceremony going on I can imagine maybe security etc,
However the guy I spoke to wearing his high vis the day I went who was standing there watching me fly & then spoke to me after my flight had no problems with it at all so was happy days.

Is also why i mentioned
