DJI Air 2 crash - where can I get spare parts?

Could anyone please advise if your able to get spares for an Air2 and where on the net would I find them…

As you can see from the picture my has had a slight bump. Not sure how it happened I just popped it up for a quick nose round and on its descent about 20ish feet off the floor it decided to just drop ??.

It seems to only have damaged the gimbal which had broke, hence I would be happy to have a go at repairing myself…

Ouch man… its one thing crashing FPV quads but this looks expensive…

I can recommend replace base. I used them recently, excellent service.

Ouch, sorry to see this. Can Heliguy not supply spares?

Some - but not as many since they don’t specialise in repairs and parts.

Ah, OK. I assumed that because they offer their own version of the DJI Care Refresh that they might have some in-house abilities and therefore a supply of spare parts.

From recollection - they have a range of DJI packed retail spare parts - and others that they don’t sell retail. That may have changed, of course. but ReplaceBase have come up trumps for me in the past where others weren’t able to.

Ouch new parts are coming in at £305.44 might look at a DIY job first i.e super glue and fingers crossed :crossed_fingers:t3:

Need a new motor for the Nazgul as well, been an expensive day today :man_facepalming:t3:

Chances are, with that much gimbal damage, the gimbal ribbon cable and/or video cable that threads its way up through the gimbal are damaged.
Neither all that expensive (on my MP, at least) but a real fiddle to do.

Good luck with the super-glue.

I’m guessing that price was for the complete gimbal and camera?

Check ebay for just the gimbal - might be from China, but I’ve bought one in the past. Those cables can be sourced from the UK via ebay, too.

Or JB Weld. The strongest glue on the planet.

Yah iv got it in bits at the mo really straight forward to be honest, its a clean break so gluing it will be should be easy.

Have you used JB Weld ?? is it easy to use as I was thinking super Glue…

Iv now worked out where I went wrong, my props iced up  hence why it started acting weird on the way down …

Yes. It it amazing. I use it for glueing bits on my kit car. It’s like epoxy, comes in 2 tubes. It doesn’t dry fast but the next day it will be stronger than the part is glued to.
