DJI assistant 2 for consumer drones

Hi all
Sorry for having to ask, my DJI assistant 2 needs updating on the windows pc, as a Mac man I’m still not up to speed on a windows laptop,
Ok so Mac only gives you one option of file type which I understand but, windows offers a file of exe or zip, I’m sorry to ask but which one should I be downloading the zip or the exe ?
Would appreciate to be pointed in the right direction, many thanks in advance. :+1:t2:

Edit, when I’m trying to update from the controller for the Aircraft firmware as it is running an old FW I get this

Just download the exe and run it

Maybe there’s a problem I’ve just found this, which is a few days ago.

It happened to me last weekend on mini 3 pro and the 2s I tried via phone and then the assistant and same error. Tried middle of the week and all perfect.

I’ve also had this error, not sure but for some reason i was not signed into the dji account on the controller so when i singed back in i then could download and update ! That maybe the problem.

Thankyou for your input, I did read that on a DJI forum but that wasn’t the problem, I did try that tho, I’m not sure what I was as in the above link others experienced the same, it’s all sorted now, I did un bind & re bind to which was not that either but hey, as said all good for now.
