DJI Assistant and Mac OS - Problems Installing on MacBook Pro

I’ve searched threads and can’t see any recent posts on this topic so wondering if I’m being a numpty!
I’m trying to install DJI Assistant on my MacBook Pro - which is a year old and has all software updates installed.
I am getting a pop-up to say the file can’t be opened by installer because it is from an unidentified developer and can’t be verified as free from malware.
I have no issues on an old Windows laptop, but would much prefer using the quicker Mac, if I was able!
Any help or pointers would be welcomed.

Go into security on your MacBook ( under system preferences ) & allow / permit the computer to allow the install, I think off the top of my head as I’ve not done it for a while but have had to do this myself is ( you may have to put your password in to unlock the padlock, which you’ll see bottom left then it should unlock ) when you’ve allowed the third party instal ( click on the padlock again & it will lock )
Hope this helps

Edit : just seen that posted above, was not there when I typed this.

Does not away the fact it’s a POS on all platforms

@SteveF what do you need it for ?

Was finding over-Wi-Fi updates very sketchy on my M3P - to be fair, the assistant isn’t much better, but a marginal improvement. Seems to work fine on my Air3 though.
