DJI Assistant not Seeing Mini 3

Assistant 2.1.18 is not recognising my new Mini 3.

The DJI Forum suggested a list of things to try, including “manually re-install the driver”. What driver, I can’t find a separate driver to download!). I’ve asked again on the Forum, but they must be closed for the weekend or something.

I’ve done everything else suggested (switch off firewall, re-install Assistant, use the supplied cable) but it’s still not working.

Windows 11 PC, fully updated.

Any suggestions please?

Thank.

Why do you need to use it ?

Make sure you have downloaded the correct version

Restart the PC

Don’t connect the drone, open the software, switch on the drone but don’t connect till you hear the start up tones

Already done all of that - all that’s happening is a File Explorer window is opening up.

I thought that Assistant was the normal method for accessing flight logs & doing firmware updates.

Is that not correct?

Just close that but that’s normally because you didn’t catch the bootloader mode, connecting it on the startup tones will normally work the best

The flight logs are encrypted but you can view them with the app or Airdata

The firmware is also done through the app

What version are you on?

2.1.18.

The current version downloaded Friday.

Firmware of the drone

01.00.0200

You can’t update it that is the latest :+1:

Yes, it did an update when I first turned the thing on a couple of days ago.

I have just set up Airdata, so can now see my flight logs, so thanks for that.

So basically I don’t need DJI Assistant then?

Unless you want to downgrade but that will depend on the ARB value

At this moment you can to v01.00.0100

Or you want to refresh the firmware

OK, thanks for the help!
