Didnāt want to put it in news (as more rumours) but mads tech posted this earlierā¦ Goggles with cameras on front OF on a new FPV style drone (avata style, possibly sub 250g)ā¦ As heād say āreally, really interestingā
Iām guessing this would be DJIs way of working around the needing a spotter rule! 
But no Iād guess its so you donāt need to take off the goggles when you stop flying and youāll swap to AR mode and be able to see in the goggles whats infront of you.
Nah I want AR mode. Look into he distance and itāll tell you the hills, distance to things etc. or show the NFZ as you turn your head.
Though I really canāt think of much of a reason to add cameras to the goggles. Yes to switch between drone and land view. But just lift your goggles. Be interesting to see what they implement.
Also I found the avata 2 rumours thread, so if someone wants to mergeā¦ (Didnāt worry, not one of my pet hates)
Seems a lot of AI generated video on this topic out there, so hard get any rela info. but they appear.to be in reviewers hands so expect a lot more leaks soon. Obviously mads tech who told DJI to go fuck themselves will not be getting a pre release freebieā¦

Watching this thread as I nearly pulled the trigger on the Avata but Iām in no rush so waiting to see what happens over the coming months.

I keep thinking about having a dabble with the Avata
BUT, I donāt seem to get time to scratch my arse just of late to take the others out, would this just be another sat doing nowāt, money side donāt bother me, itā just the thought of it sat there.
Although the wife did inform me as iām typing we are taking the drones out tommora

I pulled the trigger a month or so ago. Still havenāt flown it. My sonās my most likely spotter and heās been busy with a new job and Iāve been travelling a bit. Iām sure Iāll regret not waiting when the Avata 2 is announced and I realise I could have not been flying that, insteadā¦

Assuming accurate, Looks like the same 3 Inch prop size of the Avata so i hope they have fitted some more powerful motors.
