I have just heard through the grapevine DJI has started work on the Avata 3 and Goggles 4 :grinning:

They’re gonna need to if they want interest from the wider fpv community.

As the avata 2 looks firmly aimed at the non fpv pilot.

Does it even have manual ?

They are not interested in them other than selling the air units and goggles, the DJI FPV drones are for the people who don’t want to be bothered with the building a drone

I think part of that is correct.
I got one as I wanted new goggles and a drone that could fly some range and come back without fail as dji’s do.

I also knew you could fly it in manual so it gave best of both worlds.

Avata - similar but less of a manual feel in manual than the fpv.

Avata 2 looks to have removed the real manual and true aerobatic capabilities and replaced it with a trick button.

Getting further away from manual fpv with each version

Have they really? They got the new RC, does that not allow full manual? The OG Avata didn’t come with a controller (mines from the FPV), it flies OK when it wants to (those tight YAW turns), but they seem to have improved that (so I heard), and also the props are standard T mount! So looks like you can?!

Could be completely wrong. Just seen no mention of manual and lots on the trick button

What’s point 3 refer to on the flying prowess thing?

We don’t know yet as these are just leaked screenshots of the manual
