In my defence… my current view:
Where is that from. Looked in the usual places and only see it with gubbins
DJI Website
Found it. ty. If you go via the headline banner it’s there. If use the camera drone or Avata360 tab it’s not… Not that I am in a rush… ![]()
Looks like the latest firmware update includes FPV controller compatibility
Yea they added it again last week. Though I will say honestly unless they add acro I would not recommend the FPV remote V3 with this, you loose some of the functionaly you get with the Motions RC.
your better with the RC 2, Its largly pointless unless they add Manual
you know my thoughts… ![]()
That looks like my dog is in front of you. ![]()
There is now ![]()
There is a calibrate option for the main camera but it’s not helped me.
That on in FW is desperate for the stills.
Unfortunately don’t do basics and add what I need and frustrating is never get a fuffing voucher ![]()

I pre-ordered from DJI basic, 2 batteries, lens kit with tools, 2 sets of propellers, and battery charging hub £639.
@ianinlondon i was going to avoid your video and ask here but I knew you would cover it the type of SD card needed ![]()
Amazed when you said that some might want to get rid of there mini 5 pro to replace with this one
it never crossed my mind as I feel it’s totally different drones, they compliment each other like serious and fun, many years ago it was the mini 3 pro and the air 2s the just work together.
The wait begins and maybe DJI have looked at all the influencers reviews and firmware resolve a few gripes and no doubt be another video before I get my bird.
Apparently we’ve been quite vocal… Esp on the stitching calibration.
I think the words “this is some of the worst quality video I’ve seen produced” rang true with what other pre-release reviewers were saying… They’re obviously working on it ![]()
Ian did you try load up the Ham file?
Yea its all fine with the Goggles, there is a seprate video on it but basically same as Avata and O4. I hint at it in the video as well
Great, honest, in depth review @ianinlondon (as usual!)
And I now know that it’s definitely not something I’d be interested in ![]()
Thank you! And agree it’s not for everyone, esp if you’re into good stills photography…
Quick question for those who’ve had a 360 to play with… presumably the in-flight processing for things like vision assist, playing with the FOV, etc is done on the drone and not in controller. Does sticking to a basic forwards view when flying and doing the fancy stuff in post have any benefit on battery time?
