Is this going to get a problem for folks who have already ordered the A360?
I suppose if you’re a Mac user, it’ll be fine, but I’d check it out if you’re a Windows user, before laying out £500-£600 on the A360

I completely get your logic! But even though the phone is just receiving, its active mobile data presumably creates background radio noise inside and around the device. Putting it in flight mode stops the 4G/5G from transmitting, which hopefully makes the phone’s Wi-Fi receiver more sensitive to weak signals like the drone’s. Could be worth a quick try!
Nice one lukas321 i have ordered mine from very aswell cant wait lol
I was looking at Very but they don’t seem to do the drone only option
Worth noting that obstacle avoidance doesn’t work if you use quick shots. Or maybe it’s just flying backwards where it doesn’t work. https://youtu.be/b_rSB5srwM8?si=8dK3YzmEPUOZfmzq
That’s all well and good, but the wife has an account in my name too ![]()
Surprisingly, according to the manuals, you’ll find the same behaviour for the Mini 5 Pro and the Air 3S. In practise, you do still get some element of obstacle avoidance but I think they say it’s switched off to cover themselves because it’s obviously reduced. At the very time you needed the most ironically…
Not sure about 4G/5G, but Bluetooth and WiFi both operate at 2.4GHz, so taking BT out of the equation might help.
all i will need is the drone and extra batteries and down the line get the spare stuff after wards?
yeah if you have the controller with the screen and antenna that works with the Mini 4 Pro / Mini 5 pro / Air 3s then your good to go or you have the Avata 2 setup ( goggles / controller ) then yeah you just need the 360 and batteries.
brill will have a look to see what options i want
drone only sold out dam it
Don’t worry it be restocked end of April so only few days after release. I’m in the same boat I filled out my shopping list drone only batteries props lens replacement full kit and charger plus care refresh and when I entered checkout it automatically went to say will send me notification, thought all’s done and just wait not so ![]()
I’m ok in waiting as I’m of to England to watch rugby and see family so I be away for a while anyway.

Go easy with me; my first full 8K 360 video upload to YouTube.
All day editing this, rendered to a whopping 44 Gb file that took over half an hour to upload (with my lightning fibre), then a full 3 hours for YouTube to process…
You will need good bandwidth and change the resolution settings lower right in YouTube! But it’s pretty cool that you can grab and change the view however you want all the way through…
More than happy for feedback / criticism / general mud slinging. My first (and possibly only) go at this style of video ![]()

no mud slinging from me as I appreciate what you’ve done to show the power of the drone and more understanding of what you can do to get fantastic videos by cut and splicing.
Will you be doing daily videos like this one ![]()
