I’m about to add an avata to the fleet tomorrow and have managed to get a good deal on a used avata.
I already have goggles that are compatible that I use
With my DJI fpv.
I also use the controller 2 with that too.
Can I use my avata with the same controller without any issues or will I need to invest further?
On a side note I’ve got a motion controller that doesn’t get used that can be a temporary fix but was unsure on the controller 2 as manual mode will be my preferred flying mode

You should be ok on all accounts Howard
It’s compatible with
Motion controller
Goggles v2
FPV controller 2
- DJI Avata is compatible with DJI Goggles 2, DJI Goggles Integra, DJI FPV Goggles V2, DJI FPV Remote Controller 2, DJI RC Motion 2, and DJI Motion Controller.*

Sorry I probably didn’t pose my question as well as I could.
I guess what I’m asking is can a controller be linked with more than one drone ie DJI fpv and avata.
I’d like to avoid having two controllers if I don’t have to
Yeah but can only be paired too one drone at a time
Takes 2 seconds to pair

Sound. That’s ok. Used to doing that when swapping between motion and fpv controller.
I’m sure there’s more posts to come tomorrow when I start to unlock etc
yup, I use the same controller for the FPV, o3 air unit and the avata.
I use the motion controller 1 for the FPV
I use the motion controller 2 for the mini 3pro, and avata
and I use the goggles 2 for the Avata, FPV, 03 air init and the mini3 pro
I see that the motion controller 2 and goggles 2 works with the m4pro now to as of today/ yesterday

Good to know.
I’ve got enough controllers as it is so didn’t want to have to buy anymore
