DJI delivery drones

Personally I think that this is only going to be useful in remote islands where a ferry would need to go over and who is going to pay the fuel costs for a ferry. I can not see it working that companies will be able to send drones to addresses. Some have telephones lines going to the house, trees, people could try to shoot them down in the sky or use signal jammers to stop them in their tracks unless pre programmed. In an emergency would you have to phone up.

Hmmm , next time you’re out flying allow the home point to update, then takeoff. Fly the drone for 10 minutes or so, then hit the RTH button and see just how accurate GPS is :wink::wink:

My Mavic Air 2 claims to use its downward facing cameras to remember what’s below as it takes off, and later as it lands will adjust its position based on the image it took earlier. It’s more accurate than GPS.
