I own a DJI mavic 2 pro, I had always wanted the goggles (re or white) but never got as far as ordering them. Now you can only buy used models
I am looking at buying a DJI FPV drone that includes some DJI Goggles V2, having read up on other forums it doesnāt seem you can use the goggles with the Mavic 2 if this is the case i probably wont bother buying the FPV.
However there is a wifi stream feature on the goggles, would it be possible to cast my phone screen to the goggles whilst running the flying app?
The other option is if there is any form of video signal input on the goggles that would connect to the HDMI output on my controller?
From what I understand is you can stream video via a DNLA ( media ) server to the V2 goggles but thatās about it. So basically you can load films / video onto you phone and use the app to view them. Beyond that I donāt think you can take like an HDMI feed into the goggles.
Be careful not to confuse the older DJI Goggles V2 with the newer DJI Goggles 2 and also the even newer (but lower spec) Goggles Integra. I know that the Goggles V2 definitely dont have a HDMI in or out. They only have an AV input and thats it. Not sure about the Goggles 2 or Goggles Integra but I would be very surprised if either of them would be compatible with the Mavic 2 Pro.
Iām reluctant to call them āv1ā, as @SirGunner has already pointed out how ridiculously complicated DJIās model naming convention is, but the OG goggles are compatible with the Mavic 2.
