Not that I have an O3 Air Unit, but I’ve updated and there’s no obvious impact to the use of my Goggles3.

At my wits end with this, can anyone explain the exact steps i need to perform for this to work? I have the Mini 4 Pro, Controller 2 and Goggles 3 powered on all connected, and DJI Fly running on my Iphone, which tells me it has downloaded a Goggles 3 F/W update. When I press Install, I either get dialog telling me 1 Update Regular Aircraft Combo or 2 Updating Goggles Motion Combo, which also says to have ac switched off - which makes no sense because I dont’ get the update available with the AC switched off. I have the Goggles attched to my phone DJI Fly with a USB C and also tried connecting them to the COntroller as well but nothing works. The whole process and instructions are confusing and illogical! Any advicwe appreciated

Just connect goggles to phone via USB (nothing else turned on)

Open fly app, you should get a notification that new FW is available, go ahead and update.

Next time you start the drone you should get the same message in the app, go ahead and update it

(not sure why you are updating, but the ablove should work)

Thanks for that. Tried what you said, just the goggles plugged into the phone and everything else off. Tells me the goggles update is available, then when I press install I tells me to power on the ac, then the controller, then when I try and install I just get the guidance screen again, which in option 2 tells me to turn off the ac!! Guess I’m stuck on my current f/w, but it’s an infuriating process

Have you tried using DJI Drone Assistance 2?

It’s PC & Mac compatible.

Download, install and run the software

DJI Drone Assistant 2

Connect you Goggles to the computer using a suitable USB cable, power them On, the software will then recognise them and guide you through the firmware update.

I update all my DJI firmware using this method, I find it more reliable
