Thank goodness for store credit!
Makes the deal far sweeter…
Dealbreaker, I have over ££6 in DJI credit available, doubt my wife will see it as a bargain mind
The low-light performance does look nice, as does the zoom, but I still think this is less value for stills than it is for video.
When is @ianinlondon’s review coming out?
It does look like they’re doing their best to make this future-proof for C2 class. For example, this is from their FAQ page:
The propeller structure adopts a new design, with the edges made of a softer material. This not only reduces noise during flight, but also causes less damage to people or objects in the event of an accident.
That seems to be an attempt to comply with this C1/C2 requirement without relying on prop guards:
be designed and constructed in such a way as to minimise injury to people during operation, sharp edges of the UA shall be avoided, unless technically unavoidable under good design and manufacturing practice; if equipped with propellers, the UA shall be designed in such a way as to limit any injury that may be inflicted by the propeller blades
However, there are other aspects that don’t comply out-of-the-box e.g. the “slow-speed mode” on the M3 is 5m/s, but would need to be 3m/s to comply with C2.
Dam, I see from their store, and I quote, “Due to limited new product availability, each customer can only purchase 3 units. Additional orders purchased after 3 units will be cancelled.”
What a pity and I was going to order one for each day of the week
I knew I shouldn’t have watched that, I now want one
Sorry @ianinlondon but iJustine is much easier on the eye
I was waiting for you to post this!
😮💨
Clever satchel/backpack, maybe it is worth £4K
Maybe if iJustine hand delivers it (with beer and pizza)
Plans for the weekend (in case iJustine is a no show)
That skyline in Billy’s
Biggest Elephant in the room is the cost, and how DJI just seem intent on putting their prices up with every new release, but the so called YT influencers are all two faced, they get given these drones for free, but they wouldn’t get them if they didn’t give reviews acceptable to DJI on previous releases.
Just remember that no matter how many reviews you watch today, they are all sponsored by DJI, I would wait until someone with influence actually buys one with their own money and can give a genuine unbiased review
Sorry @milkmanchris, my hair is way, way better…
