DJI Mavic 3 & Classic - Rumours, leaks, gossip and general discussion

certainly saves having to worry about Litchi

I’ve just flown a waypoints mission this morning with the M3C, it’s so smooth, just editing it now.
I will post the youtube link when complete.

Nice one mate thanks

Here’s the full video. It’s still processing 4k on youtube but might still give you an idea how it handled the waypoint mission.

I think I will avoid Amazon now!

Purchased two Mavic 3 drones and both were already bound to another user. The second one gave me 2 flights option. The first one didn’t and had probably already been elsewhere.

Upon contacting Amazon they say it isn’t their fault. I should contact the manufacturer if I want drones that are not bound! (they didn’t use that word as they do not understand the meaning)

These were both ā€˜like new’.

So both have gone back to Amazon. Probably to be sent back out to someone else.

All they can say is that we instruct people to remove all their personal details from any hard disks etc., before returning them. We check all hard disks and wipe them carefully before sending out new electronics etc. So it must have been a one off, they say. They really do not understand the issue.

To be honest I was hoping to luck out as the second one was still sealed on most items. At under £1800 it was worth a chance. (20% discount until the 31st)

With my Mini 2s that went back for various reasons to DJI , I have now gone through 5 drones that I no longer have :joy:

I will now wait until the new year - or if a DJI refurbished one comes into stock in the USA, I will grab that.

You can safely interpret the words ā€œlike newā€ as ā€œsecond handā€.

Indeed - but then I got my Air 2 this way and it was totally unused. I guess I was lucky!

More putting it here as a warning to others.

I must have dropped lucky on my Mavic 3 flymore with cash converters, it is a brill drone and still under DJI warranty

Yep, I think luck has a lot to do with buying this ā€˜cheaper’ kit from Amazon
So far I’ve had no problems :crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers:

Not much good if it is bound to someone else however.

I don’t think Amazon is as reliable in a few ways as they used to be, just my opinion, if I do buy off them I make sure it’s on my credit card so I’m covered, due to bad experience in the past when the MA2 was first released, it had to be returned due to a fault but I had to return it of which any courier I could choose, I chose Royal Mail / insured tracked etc, however Amazon tried to deny they received it, even after I had sent them all the tracking info and screen shots to prove it :person_facepalming:t2:

You call them which I think is a number in Ireland, just to speak to someone who I don’t even think lives on this planet that does Not understand plain English ….

I’ve had zero issues with Amazon

One caveat is I always look for sold by Amazon stuff, the 3rd party ā€˜fulfilled’ stuff is a lottery just like eBay

I agree :point_up_2:t2: that’s a lesson learned too.

Marketplace always has been, if u see anything not sold by Amazon, check the seller and cross reference eBay, it’ll be cheaper

I’ve just flown my very first night flight with the Mavic 3 Classic. Maybe too high and wide but I was a bit nervous but the quality straight from the card is clear.

Have a quick look and critique.

Mick.
