DJI Mavic 3 extended (physically!) 7200mAh battery

Anyone come across these extended (literally, in the physical sense too) 7200mAh batteries for the Mavic 3 before?

I’m trying to find the origin.

wow!!! bit expensive

maybe we can find a shell… as I see they are available for the original Mavic and then you pack what you want in the shell

Only £19 quid more than a regular battery?

… maybe… cut and extend with a 3d printer… just not sure if the contacts are included

… not really… I’m trying to sell some for £125 a pop with a charger and no takers

RRP, obviously

They’ve been quite cheap I’ve seen here & there recently,

Be careful of the non-Amazon sellers, Rich :see_no_evil:

Photo instructions on how to distinguish the original battery for Mavic 3 series from a fake. Using a counterfeit product may result in the loss of the bird. Be careful!

9000mah for the Air3 for a whole 5 minutes extra flight time. That has to be fantastic for the handling.

Is that a guess?

Is it not Chinese?

Looks very home-made

I think best to stick with what “ ya know “ rather than the spend cheap spend twice or god forbid it all goes up in flames :grimacing: id rather pay over the odds thanks for pointing that out :+1:

Yeah or it could be Ukrainian :grinning:

That’s similar to another second-battery mod I’ve seen:

Although this would probably keep me awake at night:

The latest firmware DJI released for most of the current drones has put a stop to these non geniune batterys being used, so it wouldnt even take-off and becuase of the ARB they will never work!

that is just protectionism/ a cartel at work. was not necessary. should be down to the user to choose (put a msg on the screen and get the user to accept the alternative battery, not lock out the uav)

… I got a load of batteries to offload…
