Unfortunately the IR zoom only goes up to X16 so I don’t think it would pick much up at that distance be it full daylight or dead of night 
Having said that the IR works quite well in daylight. Will have to post the test video I have of a guy fishing on the beach which is barely visible with the RGB but stands out really well with IR.

Like to keep my distance especially from a lot of farmers down our way who are threatening to shoot drones down - they claim thefts of expensive farm machinery are being targeted after drones have been used to identify and locate said machinery
Lambing season doesn’t help either - they’re all to ready to shoot any dog out in their fields at this time of year

I’d get a cheap drone for them to shoot down … and then claim enormous amounts of compensation for loss of drone / trauma / PTSD …

Should help to spot Russian troops without getting compromised and to direct Ukrainian artillery onto their targets.
