Absolutely loving this drone thus far. Capable of capturing some excellent footage!
Also pretty keen to finally get into photo and video taking (in a drone context) and editing. Any good resources to share with a newbie?
Feels like a bit of shame owning such kit and not putting it to the best possible use.
There are numerous threads on this subject in the Photo & Video Editing section of the forum.
If your unable to find the answers you require, feel free to start a new thread within that section
A reminder to all Mavic 4 Pro owners to join the @group-mavic-4 to make sure you’re notified of any important updates or news
And as the current sole member of that group, Nick @NYanakiev would probably welcome the company
Indeed!

Oh?
Is this during it’s power up self-checks?
When you mentioned it I thought you meant it might hop 5mm to the left or something.
Is it much worse than that?
When you first boot up the props, mine might be faulty but it was violent enough to rub the bottom rubber on the legs, it is great in the air, but to be honest is it over a grand better than the Air 3S with the RC Pro 2, not for me it isn’t.
I can see others having issues in time with the gimbal getting damaged when powering up by vibration
Sometimes ( even my Mav 3 ) not going off topic, if you’ve not unfolded the props properly or there not perfectly unfolded in a straight line end to end opposite if that makes sense it does & can cause shudder vibration until there spinning fast enough to pull them straight & balanced hope that makes sense, only going on my own findings tho
I thought that too, so the next time I opened them all fully, alas the same, wish I’d videoed it now, but already repacked it to return
Ah ok fair enough, yes a lot of money also if your not 100% happy confident with it
My new DJI Mavic 4 pro, HDR photos are at 100 mp in size !!! Even my pc slows down when editing them. The video format is 6k HDR video and my pc chokes a bit lol but the photo and video quality is in a class of it’s own compared to the old DJI drones.
Pictures and videos to follow
Yeah but the downside is the restriction (currently) on where you can fly it
It’s a great bit of kit but it weighs over a kilo
The Mavic 4 Pro is on Good 2 Go now:
so are some baked tatties but they dont fly
Thankfully the CAA don’t impose any restrictions on our baked tatties based on their weight
we would starve tae death
And that’s why the hobby is on its way to be fucked (again)
lighten up for godsake
