Via warranty replacement or via Care Refresh replacement?
Warranty replacement.
Good to hear you are getting a replacement. While following a waypoint route around the Abbey last week, mine dropped out after alerting obstacles several times. The drone was at 35M and in clearer skies when alerting the obstacles. On reflection I decided it was likely while traversing towards a low setting sun. Still it buggered up the whole filming run and remained problematic while directed towards the setting sun.
I think I had a similar issue with OD on mine- all of the issues were during flights in the bright summer sun.
Now arrived. Drone is brand new, got another 2 sets of propellers so now got a total of 4 sets of props. Pretty impressed!
Time to start the Mavic 5 thread?
Looks like it might be under 250g?
Listening to the radio few days ago and I heard that prisons are afraid of escapes via Drone lift
OK folks seriously thinking of adding a Mavic 4 Pro to the stable. Seems to been some issues (vibration?) to begin with has this been resolved and should I take the plunge now or wait a while.
Mine’s fine, but others have had problems. I think the latest firmware update helped some. I’d buy it from someone who will swap it out with minimal hassle though. It’s an impressive beastie. I’d get the RC Pro 2 if possible. I just got a lanyard for it, which makes hand launches easier - the prop sweep is quite large!
Thanks already have RC2 for the mini 4 pros, I’m thinking of going for the RC2 pro with the bigger pop up screen for the Mavic 4. Going to be a pricey package but it should do anything I’ll ever need. Getting my practice in with the minis for now, trashed one, hard involuntary landing among some long scrub but learned a lot on the flight - don’t push the battery I now accept the low battery RTH, slot in another battery and go again.
Vibration entirely due to the way the props are when flying off. My unit was swapped over for a new one and even the second unit had it (if quite a bit less);
Thanks I’ll maybe hold off a bit then
