Hi all
Got this message pop up last night on drone - only there for a miller second ( checked other forums before posting here ) many say it’s normal some say not - was fine threw out the flight then landed it - took it back up battery was getting close to 35 % then I put it in sport mode as I was nearby to the drone ! Propellors are fine etc etc - on other forums it says low battery and sport mode sometimes throws this but never noticed it before as soon as I let off the power it went - any input welcome …… it was also quite windy up there
Thanks
I’ve had this warning a couple of times on the MA2. Both times it was windy and the battery level was below 40%.
As the battery level drops the voltage of the battery is falling too. The drone has a limit to how much current it can supply safely from the battery, but the total power from that current falls with the voltage of the battery. It suggests the drone is struggling to keep up with the wind and commands from the pilot. When I’ve seen it I’ve treated it as a “Risk of flyaway - reduce altitude and consider recalling” condition.
