Dji mavic mini RC not connecting to mobile device

Hiya,
Total newby to drones, so bought a mavic mini! I am getting a message on screen in the dji app that the RC is unable to connect with the mobile device. I am using the lightining connector (iphone 13) .
Also when proceeding thru the app when it says register i assume this is to the CAA website I am just getting a white screen. I have a dji account and a flyer id.

Can anyone assist?

Hi Harry if it’s a new drone you may have to register with DJI , if not try changing your lead ? Hope this information helped.

Have you downloaded the correct app, it should be the DJI FLY app

No, you need to enter your DJI account details

The next screen after pressing “register” is a blank white screen!

It could be the cable faulty or the socket has something in it, blow it out and try another cable if you can

Post a screenshot of the page and the one before

Hmmmmm is you’re phone connected to the Internet?
I know some people take the drone outside and forget to turn on mobile Internet

Trying to set up indoors wifi/ internet 4G both available.

Have you binded the drone to you’re account?
Take you’re time you’ll get there in the end.
Remember the battery might get hot quick because it’s sat on standby and shut itself down

No I havent managed to do that yet, however I have managed to get the drone airborne! Someone suggested removing the sd card - I did - tried it all again and as if by magic it worked so a brief test flight around the garden - it is too windy here at present so I ve resisted pushing my luck. Thanks everyone for your help.
