DJI Mini 2 gimbal jerking

I have searched this group and can’t find anything

Mini 2 in 4k at 200ft

When using the gimbal my screen shows the gimbal jerking as in goes up or down the scale in batches of four

Simplified turning the knurled dial the gimbal goes a qtr up the scale stops then another qtr same for down

At 0ft it was ok

Was this the wind as I’ve read you adjusting the gimbal whilst the drone is trying to level it in wind

Sounds feasible but is it

Perhaps you can share a video of the issue whilst in flight. It may help diagnose the problem.

is the camera in fpv mode? in fpv mode the camera is fixed to the movement of the drone.

Silly question (I’m renowned for silly questions), are you seeing the gimbal jerks in both the live video stream and the video off the SD Card?

The reason I ask, as you mentioned it was at a distance and not close in, could be due to signal quality. When at a distance and the signal is weaker the live video can stall, which would give the impression that things are not as fluid as expected. I won’t bore you with the details but there is a lot going on behind the scenes with the DJI link (compression, error correction, etc) and things can appear to slow down in adverse signal conditions.
