@SparkyFPV anything you get second hand the manufacturer don’t like giving support. All they want is for you to buy new. Hope they can sort the firmware but I doubt it? Why spend money on a fix for a out of date drone? I know as a manufacturer they are obligated to do support the product for X amount of years, they will only do this if something major is needed.
By the way, have you tried updating the firmware on the RC using DJI assistant

I have a similar problem.
I can bind the mini 2 to my Air 2 controller, but it will not bind to the controller that came with the Mini 2.
Not too sure why - not a massive problem, but it does mean I can only fly one drone at a time.
Not spent a lot of time trying to resolve if I am honest.

Care Refresh is tied to the drone. Buy a 2nd hand DJI with time remaining on Care Refresh and it’s yours. If the drone has never had Care Refresh, you can use the video submission method to buy it.
@Crackerjack what do you mean by video submission?
Not done it myself but I understand you contact support to ask for Care Refresh. They can see your drone’s logs if you’ve allowed upload and they’ll ask for video proof it flies OK and is not damaged. If all is OK, you can have Refresh.
Care Refresh can only be purchased up to 15 days after activation of the drone, if not done in the first 48 hours then a video Verification is needed

I have had reply from DJI with a down graded app but unable to install on my iPhone unless I jailbreak it
That’ll be an Android app they’ve sent you @Gham
DJI don’t distribute custom iOS apps.

That what I thought I did tell them it’s an iPhone. Just some of the service agents names cracked me up, Wish and Vera. Not going to worry about it don’t have care pack
You can buy care fresh after the time limit expires, like you go onto say you have to prove via video submission that your gimbal and calibration for GPS etc is working. They give you a template to follow. I bought care fresh about 5 months after activation.

My Dji2 has also just come up with a binding error yet i see the camera view in background. Its a new smart controllee
Looking for help or a forum to assus dji mini 2 with new controller. Not binding but i see camera on screen and maybe a software fault too. Drone fine with phone but all gone wrong with controller
