I’ve created a fairly fullsome (you can always take stuff out you don’t need it) DJI Mini 3 Pro checklist, easily adapted to other drones / non UK locations. Released under a Creative Commons licence.

Noow updated to version 1.4 here:

The latest version will always be here (a Google Drive Share) right click on the PDF or Word Doc and then ‘Download’ to download. It doesn’t render well in Google Docs.

Shouldn’t you have all equipment packed in pre flight before arrival?

Bit late to find you can’t tick all equipment brought :thinking:

Thanks Doodler, good point. Now changed in version 1.6 (amongst quite a lot of improvements since 1.2): bit.ly/dronecheck Right click on the PDF or Word Doc and then ‘Download’ to download. The word doc doesn’t render well in Google docs.

Actually wouldn’t advise formatting the SD card on the M3 pro - as otherwise the image count resets to 0

Might be an issue - obviously you need space on the card however.

So just adding this here in case anyone decides to do that. I would manually delete leaving the last taken image or video on the card.

Thanks DroneGeek, really useful to know. I will ammend to ‘SD cards have sufficient space’ and leave it to the user as to how they manage that space. There’s not enough room on a one page checklist to go in to more detail.

I format the sd card on the drone regularly. I know it resets the file count to zero, but get around this by creating new folders for storage of pics / video, named after whatever project I’m working on and download them off the sd card to a specific location. ( saves messing about with warnings about “ the file already exists”)

It’s one of the reasons why I made it a a Creative Commons licence Word doc, so if you want to include something sligtly non-standard like that you can.

I’ve significantly updated the Mini 3 Pro checklist to version 2.0 - easily modified for other drones or edited to suit.

Many changes including, most significantly, locations of all the needed firmware / software / FlySafe updates.
