Nah, as I said previously, Iāll check YT and other sources before updating at some point ( probably a few months) 
Iām brave enough, but I canāt see it. Yes, I tried DJI Assistant as that is the way I normally update.

Yes, and Iāve updated the DJI Assistant. No sign of V01.00.0800 for me.

I doubt it, as it normally checks for an update when opened and the updates are to add functionality to newer drones

Sooo, today I can see V01.00.0800 and have updated to it.
And I have been out and had a 32min flight without any issues.

Ahh yes of course. Probably updated the url of the server it sends our location/ photos/ videos to. Specially after that major IT outage last week
